Chapter 8: SOCIAL STRUCTURES AND COMMUNICATION

Anticipated outcomes:

· On the completion of this chapter the reader should be competent to:

· recognise the necessity of social structure for communal association and

communication;

· differentiate between the different types of structures developed in various cultural

contexts;

· explain and justify the principle that structures for Christian ministry and worship

should be ministry oriented, Spirit guided and culturally relevant;

. leadership and training structures that are culturally appropriate and Spirit guided

and empowered.
